Night of Light has become the most important trading action prior to Christmas

Saturday night, for the second consecutive year, the streets of Dénia filled with Christmas light thanks to 6.000 candles that lit the night light where shops remained open until 23 hours, offering customers deals, discounts and gifts if they made purchases that evening.

The Night of Light began with a Christmas carol recital in the Plaza de la Constitución, in which the Alfa and Omega, Paidos and Sagrado Corazón schools and the Al Andalus and La Casa de Andalucía choirs participated. This recital marked the beginning of a night of shopping in the local commerce that brought thousands of people to the streets who took advantage of the occasion to do their Christmas shopping.

A dance group livened up the streets and various associations that were distributed by the city center singing carols and encouraging passersby.
