Christmas has already taken to the streets in Dénia. For some years, the celebration of the Nit de la Llum marks the beginning of the festivities in the city. And it does become one of the most important nights for local commerce purchases.
This Saturday, from the 19 and until the 23 hours, the center of Dénia was filled with light thanks to the thousands of candles that illuminated the streets. Rivers of people walked along Marqués de Campo street, Dianense's main commercial artery, and the surrounding areas, taking advantage of discounts and offers from local businesses. Also this year, charities that offered their products in tents installed at strategic points such as the Dénia Rotary Club and the Aspanion Foundation against childhood cancer joined the event.
The animation was provided by dancers to the tune of Christmas carols through the streets on a quadricycle, and various musical groups participated Dénia Christmas singing at various strategic points.
Municipal Mercat not missed the meeting, and opened during the evening hundreds of people actually queued up before starting to enter the premises. This year included the decoration that was installed in The plateWith candles, lanterns, Christmas trees and many different flowers.
