The Dénia Swimming Club went to the Petrer pool where the II Federation Control took place for the infant and junior categories. Dianense swimmer Miriam Ochoa, had a very outstanding performance. He swam in the 200-meter breaststroke test, and managed to achieve a time of 3'13 "56, which meant that he had lowered the regional minimum in his children's category by five seconds. He made a great race in progression, climbing positions until he reached to be third overall and the best swimmer born in 2002.

It must be noted the good role that other swimmers of the Dénia Swimming Club performed, such as María Más, Alba Corts, Mara Stocks, Adrián Monteagudo, Lara Pardo, Pablo Pérez, Adrián Furquet and Felipe Cornejo, all of them managed to lower their personal marks staying very close of their particular autonomic minimum marks.
