14 de November de 2014 - 15:12

The Governing Board has approved the municipal technical report on the urbanization project of the maritime front in the port of Dénia proposed by the Ministry of Infrastructures.

As reported by the councilor Vicente Chelet, this report introduces some conditions to the project sent by the Ministry, such as, for example, that renewable and non-polluting energy luminaires are installed in the new promenade or that the gardening species used in the ornamentation are also appropriate to the environment. The report refers to the section of the promenade between the Plaza de Benidorm and the fish market.

The projected phase between the market and the Moll del Martell is currently in the study phase as the interests of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Ajuntament de Dénia do not coincide, explained Chelet. The Ministry of Infrastructures, author of the project, aims to reduce from 3 to 2 the lanes provided for the walk, which are opposed by the consistory "because it would not leave enough space to install the 'bous to the sea' fences and we could not celebrate the party", In the words of the mayor.

The Governing Board has also approved the bases of the contest of Christmas shop windows and the subsidies granted by the Department of Holidays.

On the other hand, there has been an agreement between Creama and the residence of Santa Llúcia to carry out assistance workshops for a period of one year and the approval of this training action has been requested.

The Board has also agreed to ask the Ministry of Development for the 1,5% Cultural to make improvements to the castle.
