The young Dianense Raquel López Van Beek wins the Junior section of the European Cup of Bakery 'Louis Lesaffre'

Raquel López Van Beek has won the Cup Louis Lesaffre in the Junior section after being selected last April to join the national team of artisan bakers. In this contest 11 participating countries, young Dianense prepared a snack for children with four different elaborations two savory and two sweet.

The dianense prepared a bica, a cone-pizza, a brioche and a sandwich and finished making her dishes within the expected time (four hours). The jury, made up of children, chose her as the winner along with the Dutch Rianne Kuijntjles.

Thanks to this position in the Cup Louis Lesaffre, participará en la final mundial en París, a la que sólo acceden los cinco mejor clasificados de todo el mundo. La dianense no se esperaba conseguir este gran resultado. Según sus palabras «no te lo esperas, es increíble. Los contrincantes son generaciones y generaciones de panaderos y yo tan sólo he practicado en mi casa, pensaba que no iba a ganar, no me lo creía».
