The installation of bollards will impede the passage of vehicles along La Vía. The measure of placing these fixed bollards has been carried out after several citizen complaints denouncing the circulation of vehicles along this pedestrian street.

Another of the measures adopted by the department of citizen security has been the change of the loading and unloading area of this street. As of today it has been located on Carlos Street Sentí, in the section between La Vía street and Patricio Ferrándiz street.

With these two measures that have been taken is intended to ensure that no type of vehicle circulates on a street that is eminently pedestrian, as explained by Councilman Javier Scotto.

They ask access only to residents

Some residents living in the part of La Via street between Diana and Carlos streets SentíThey are elderly people, who do not look favorably on the measure adopted by Scotto. They advocate the need they have to reach their homes with their own cars to unload a purchase or transfer a disabled person. They clarify that it is not a question of circulating on the street or parking in it, simply access when they need it.

The affected neighbors ask that the bollards are not fixed and that they are automatic for the residents in the street. That is, the neighbors have a key or any other type of automation that allows them to lower the bollards when they need to get to their homes or there is an emergency. A system of bollards such as those installed in La Mar street that can be raised and lowered as required.

Moreover, they complain of the speed that has had the City to attend the complaint about the traffic for that section of the street. They have been denouncing the bad condition of the street floor for years and years, with holes and malformations that can cause falls. They also comment that the installed planters present a deplorable state of abandonment and so far everything remains equally deteriorated and no one attends to their denunciations. Some complaints are dealt with quickly and others seem to be forgotten.
