Escoleta crane and ownership change

03 June 2013 - 00: 00

The Local Government Board held last week in Dénia approved the definitive award of the exploitation of the Municipal Children's School L'Escoleta to the company Ana Naya, SL. The successful bidder will begin its management in L'Escoleta the 1 in July and will pay the Ajuntament de Dénia the amount of 2.400 annual euros as a fee for the administrative concession of the building.

This new management system will mean savings for the municipal coffers, as indicated by councilor Vicente Chelet, since from now on the city council will not have to face the deficit of the center, "which was around 180.000 euros per year".

Another concession that changes ownership and management model is the service of the crane. The contract with the current concession ends on June 10 and since that date, will be the company Licuas which provides the service and copper. However, the conditions of the new contract states that from the 2.000 recalled vehicles, the company believes its financial equilibrium reached and the council agrees to pay a percentage of their profits. Licuas tank vehicles located on a plot Industrial Estate.
