The Government authorizes the roundabout at the junction of Joan Fuster street and Diana

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Model has authorized the funding under the Plan of Support for Productive Investment (PIP) project to build a roundabout at the junction of the Joan Fuster Avenue and Diana Street.

The City Council of Dénia approved in an extraordinary plenary session held in July 2016 request replacement project traffic light crossing initially submitted to this line of regional funding for the planned construction of a roundabout, an alternative that has a favorable report from the Department Housing, Public Works and structuring of the territory.

Now, the Ministry of Finance has just issued the authorization for the action to be financed with 199.434,28 euros from the Plan of Support for Productive Investment. The City Council of Dénia will take care of 60.000 euros remaining to complete the total budget and will also charge the tender for the work, which has a scheduled execution time of 10 months.

It is recalled that this action will be integrated into the draft tranviarización 9 access the TRAM line to the city of Dénia.

The status of other projects Trust Plan

With respect to other projects to be carried out in the municipality of Dénia under the PIP Plan, and have been awarded the new bus station (290.704,86 euros); Camí of Cementeri (542.648,46 euros); the rehabilitation of the old fish market (991.403 euros); Resurfacing plan streets (950.000 euros), which is already running; undergrounding three waste collection points in Jesus Pobre (€ 135.355,28); the new lighting of the sports hall (€ 189.999,99) and lighting in Avenue Joan Fuster (€ 73.110,74).

The redevelopment projects of the Arxiduc Carles square (886.134,40 euros) are in the bid-scaling phase; La Mar street (750.000 euros) and Colón street (750.000 euros). The rehabilitation project of the Casa de la Marquesa Valero de Palma (595.063 euros) is approved and pending bidding. Finally, pending reports of various kinds are the redevelopment project for Sandunga Street (€750.000), the redevelopment project for Sant Francesc Street (€367.731,84) and the project for improvements to the lighting and signage of the castle (400.000 €).
