The Templaris filà wins a year paellas contest of Sant Roc

This year it was more difficult due to the large number of participants but they did it again: the filà Templaris won the first prize in the Sant Roc paella contest in which a total of 20 paellas participated.

In the contest the filaes Almogàvers, Amiries, Alkamar, Amazigh, Berebers, Abencerrajes, Templaris, Hospitalaris, Berberiscas Pirates, Deniers, Walies and Mozárabes participated. In addition, the Multiesport Club, the Baix la Mar fault, the festivities of Carrer Sant Pere, the San Miguel Parish, Ximo Smach, the Mayorales de Sant Roc, the Bona Taula group, the Dénia Swimming Club, the Fallera Local Board and the rock Valencianista Me 'Fot.

From 12 noon the festive atmosphere reigned in Marqués de Campo street, enlivened by cachorras Band and the thousands of people who strolled down the street during the morning. At 14:30 pm, the participants presented the paellas and the jury, made up of members of Aehtma, the president of the FEMMICC, Josele Maldonado; the mayoral mayor Julián Rodríguez, and the party councilor, Eva Ronda, tasted the twenty paellas that entered the contest.

After the deliberation they announced that the third prize went to the Peña Me'n Fot; the second for the Filà Abencerrajes and the first prize for Templaris.

Some participants chose to take their paella groups on the same street, where tables and chairs were set up, while others took them to their Kabyle morning to finish there.
