Toy Fair Old and Collectables paper meets 17 years

November 30 from 2013 - 00: 01

The past toymaker of Dénia, one of the fundamental parts of the history of the city, returns again this year to Marqués de Campo street in the now traditional Old Toy and Paper Collecting Fair.

It will be on Saturday 7 in December when twenty seats occupy the main artery of the city from 10 in the morning and up to 18 hours. The president of the Amics del Joguet de Dénia association, Maite Carrió, recalled that this year the students of the formative cycle of animation of the IES historian Chabàs will also participate with traditional games.

The toy day will be complemented with a guided tour to the Toy Museum from the city, one of the most important in the country, to the 11 of the morning organized by the department of culture.

From the Association Amics del Joguet de Dénia they work to spread the history of the toy of Dénia throughout the country, and are currently in talks to manage an exhibition at the Museu del Joguet de Catalunya, located in Figueres.

To achieve this diffusion, they are betting on new technologies, and currently they are renewing their web page with the help of associate Juan Fernández Moro, one of the largest collectors of Monopoly in Spain. Fernández Moro advanced that the web will be operational at the beginning of 2014 and will be more dynamic and attractive.
