West fails celebrates 44 years honoring its flag

As usual, the weekend before the plantà of the fallas begins in Dénia, the west fault brought together its falleros and falleras, as well as the highest representatives of the eleven falleras commissions of Dénia, to celebrate together the Day of flag.

The appointment started at 11: 00 morning, when members of the commission toured the fallas districts of the city picking up the charges of each committee. Past 13 hours, the procession reached the Valgamedios place to begin the act of homage to the flag.

In the first place, it was the positions of this year who imposed the bow ties on their respective banners, and after them the major falleras of Dénia, Inés Alcreu and Mar Cabrera, and the councilor for parties, Eva Ronda. Next, the new members of the commission took the stage, kissing the flag as an act of loyalty to the district. To end the act, a mascletà was fired in the square and the attendees enjoyed a wine of honor in the house.
