This eighth stage will have, as we said, its start in Dénia and will cover 164,8 kilometers from the interior of the Costa Blanca to Xorret de Catí (between Petrer and Castalla). On its way it will cross emblematic geographical points such as Vall d'Ebo, before facing the ports of Tollos, Benifallim and La Carrasqueta, as well as Ibi.

The date of this stage will be September 2, 2023, when La Vuelta leaves Dénia after reaching the previous stage at the Oliva finish line.

According to the description of the organization, it is an "intense day with a third-class port, three second-class and one first-class. The strongest teams will have to control the race, although a breakaway victory is not ruled out since there will already be riders with enough time lost. The one who crowns the demanding ramps of Xorret de Catí in first place will have all the ballots to achieve victory ».
