School Dénia Swimming Club was the winner of the Regional League CEMA

Last Saturday the awards ceremony of the Regional League Swimming performing became the Consorci Esportiu Marina Alta Calp pool.

On this day, the Dénia Swimming Club School was proclaimed the winner of the league followed by the Ondara School in second position and the Dénia Aqualia Sports Center team in third. A league that has been very disputed between the team from the Dianense school and that of Ondara, which has been decided in the end by a scant 24 points in favor of those from Dénia.

Apart from the trophy first placed many of his swimmers were rewarded for their effort, perseverance and dedication with numerous medals. In the case of prebenjamíns Héctor Tamayo top three in front crawl, breaststroke and took back. Teammate Alex Kolobnev got second in front crawl and back and was third in breaststroke.

Youngest category, Gonzalo Pastor was the best in crol, Pau Agudo, was third in crol, and Julián Tamayo was the best in back. Rodrigo Marzà fry was third in crol and second in silver, while Stoks Lucia was the best in breaststroke and second in the crawl mode. These two swimmers also won gold in the relay alevín with his team who completed Iván Kropf, Pau Agudo and Fran Juan.

In the children's category, Miriam Ochoa was the best in the backstroke, and second in the crawl modality. Joan Puigcerver, was the best in front crawl and breaststroke, as well as being second in backstroke. Santi Vives also got a creditable third place in breaststroke. These swimmers added a third place with the relay team, in which Antonio Bonilla, Marcos Gimeno, Pau Nofuentes and Gabi Dolader also swam.

The cadets were the most awarded, obtaining the following medals: María Más, gold in breaststroke and silver in crawl. Alba Corts won gold in all events, front crawl, backstroke and mixed styles. Mara Stoks, silver in mixed butterfly and gold in front crawl and junior backstroke. Adrián Monteagudo added all the golds in butterfly, cadet crawl and junior crawl. Santiago Mosquera, meanwhile, got a silver in crawl and gold in cadet and junior back. While Nacho Calabuig got a very good silver in styles.

These two relay teams completing the boys by Javi Cornejo and Salva Vivas, and the girls by Míriam Ochoa also won gold tie with mixed styles relays.

Finally the only school swimmer who participated in the junior category, Pablo Pérez added a breaststroke gold and silver butterfly.
