The cream of the monuments marking the incio of failures 2015

The book of failures of 2014 in Dénia was closed last night with the cremation of the 24 monuments that during these days have been part of the landscape of the city and that have attracted many people to the capital of the region to enjoy the big days of the failures of Dénia.

But everything starts over, and so is repeated every year on the night of March 19 when the purifying fire ends with monuments and starts a new exercise failures.

The Falleras Mayores of Dénia marked the beginning of that end with the cremà of the monuments of the Local Fallera Board, planted at the intersection of Diana and La Mar streets. Paloma Mengual was in charge of lighting the fuse of her small falla, a work of the local artist Vicent Gayà, and between tears and hugs he said goodbye to his year as the maximum representative of the falleritos and falleritas of Dénia.

Sara Femenía, for her part, did the same with her falla, the work of another local artist Dani Garrigós, and when midnight came she marked the start of the cremation of all the large monuments with the lighting of the emcha of her own.

The night was uneventful and served to leave behind a year full of memories and experiences and open the doors to a new fallero exercise.
