February 13 from 2018 - 12: 48

Councilwoman Marian Tamarit, who currently heads the areas of Sports and Linguistic Normalization at the City of Dénia, presented her resignation on Monday afternoon as such before the executive of the party "for strictly labor reasons".

Tamarit has started working in another location, a situation that "It makes it more difficult to devote all the time and effort that the work of the departments deserve".

As reported by the group in a statement, "for Tamarit, the recovery of the Sports Gala was of vital importance and one of its objectives in this legislature, so his resignation was planned only after the celebration of this event, as well as after the conclusion of other projects already initiated. " ANDThis has ensured that, despite not being in front of the council, will continue to have an active role in the game as well as in the sports environment.

After the resignation of Tamarit, the executive approved that Vicent Crespo be his successor, who occupied the fifth place in the municipal lists of 2015. Crespo, who is currently president of the Pilota Valenciana Club, is closely linked to the world of sports and local associations, being also president of the Rondalla Vent, Pols i Púa, of the Ermita de San Juan Association, and has also been president of the AMMIC (2001-2003); so the executive is sure of the good role she will perform during her tenure.

From Compromís, the work carried out by Tamarit during this time has been highly valued, both at the head of the councils and internally. For his part, Rafa Carrió, spokesman for the municipal group, described Tamarit as "A companion, friend and loyal professional, complete and fair in all causes, impeccable in its management and with which I will continue to count in the political sphere". Regarding Crespo, the spokesman said that he does not doubt that he will be up to the task and fully trust in his virtues and abilities for the task that awaits him.
