500 people around Friday afternoon marched through the streets of Dénia defending the continuity of 9 TRAM line linking Denia and Benidorm organized by the council of FCV.

During the march we were able to see the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, the mayor of Gata, Ana María Soler and numerous dianenses councilors of all political colors. The deputy from Esquerra Unida Lluís Torró and the socialist deputy Herick Campos also participated.

The demonstration began in Archduke Carlos and ended at the train station, where Vicent Serrat, head of Altea's circulation, read a manifesto in which he demanded that the historic line linking Marina Alta and Baja not be closed.

Deputy for Esquerra Lluís Torró, "The people of the Navy cannot be left to the toll highway for their travels".

Toño Abad, Provincial Secretary for Infrastructure of the PSOE, appeared in the morning to explain that currently one million people a year use this economically amortized line. Abad proposed the elaboration of municipal mobility plans, the construction of dissuasive car parks in the vicinity of the stations, the start-up of a Nightmare on weekends or the recovery of the historic Limón Express to improve the profitability of the line.
