CHJ is committed to operating the sewerage system executed in the Montgó

The mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has resumed contact with the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation to solve the problems with the sewerage network of Les Rotes and Montgó. The meeting they held in Valencia with the president of the Confederation, Mª Ángeles Ureña, brings the commitment to put into operation the collectors already executed of the Montgó sewer project before the end of the year.

Segin reported Ureña, the contract with the contractor of the works has been canceled and will be the Tragsa group to be responsible for performing the work and adapt the road affected by the works. Yes, because of the disadvantages of the sewerage project CHJ Les Rotes is considering other solutions to discharges in the area.

Vicent valued Grimalt "very positively" the meeting and stressed the importance of "to resume relations with the confederation in order to unlock an issue of vital importance for the city". Together with the mayor, the Councilor for Urban Territory and Quality, Maria Josep Ripoll, and the Councilor for the Environment, Josep Crespo participated in the meeting.
