The City Council has received approval from the Department of Finance for three new projects that are included in the Trust Plan funds. On the one hand, the Department has approved the budget of 599.063 euros to adapt the Casa de la Marquesa Valero de Palma, on Calle Cavallers, next to the Ethnological Museum, and transform it into a multicultural center.

It is one of the great demands of the cultural sector of the city, which saw how this building, which for years housed the music conservatory, was abandoned and without public utility. This was one of the most voted projects in the public consultation carried out by the Local Agenda 21 by the citizens, and in a few months it will be a reality.

On the other hand, two improvement projects in public roads have also been approved: the redevelopment of La Mar street between Diana and Carlos streets Sentí, with a budget of 750.000 euros, and the installation of public lighting on Joan Fuster avenue, in the section that goes from Camí Pou de la Muntanya to Camí de Sant Joan, which has been awarded a budget of 73.100,74, XNUMX euros.
