November 18 from 2014 - 09: 33

A total of 86 dianenses students have been the beneficiaries of the campaign to collect school supplies driven by the Socialist Group Dénia to help families with children in needy school-age city.

As reported by the organizers, beneficiaries belong to most primary schools, secondary and high schools in the city. Since the group has wanted to thank the collaboration to educational communities for allowing them to carry out this campaign.

The campaign resulted in a first contact with directions and the center staff and representatives of the AMPA, to know the real situation and the specific shortcomings of each center. Subsequently the material, which was acquired through the voluntary cooperation of members and supporters of the Socialist Group was provided.

The General Secretary of the Socialists, Vicent Grimalt, welcomes the success of the campaign, although he regrets "the lack of involvement and collaboration in solving the problems of acquiring school supplies of the neediest families in the city" from the councilor for education, Pepa Sivera.

Grimalt denounces the passivity of the PP in the face of this problem, which is why the Socialists decided to start this campaign. The mayoral candidate has promised to bring together the directors of the schools with representatives of the City Council in order to anticipate this problem, preventing the 2015/2016 school year from starting with these deficiencies.
