After the increase experienced by the rate of garbage in Dénia this year, the dianenses will suffer another increase and we will pay, next time, 10 euros more (approximately).
This increase is due to the increase in the discharge fee that the Waste Plan Consortium of the XV Zone charges to the town halls for moving the garbage to the El Campello plant.
The affected municipalities, such as Dénia, had to decide whether they assume this increase or make it fall on the citizens, and in the capital of the region it has been decided that it is the citizens who are responsible for this increase. Although no decision will be made until next week, the councilor of finance, Vicente Chelet, showed the few possibilities of the town hall to deal with that rise.
