The action management team of the Local Agenda 21, headed by Vicente Chelet, has presented its program aimed at covering the requests, suggestions and participatory needs of the dianenses.

Satisfied with the work that has been done in recent years, both Chelet as technical partners of the Department of Local Agenda 21 have highlighted the success of previous years, latent in the reward and recognition that has been done since the provincial scope of its methodology. Therefore, we intend to continue with the same working method, encouraging citizen participation and adapting to the new situation with new strategies that serve to reach all citizens and allow them to be the different sectors of Dénia those who build a future city model.

The Department also undertakes to coordinate with the rest of the areas in order to carry out a fair and consensual project that, despite the economic difficulties, will begin to be active as of September. This coordination is represented, in the first instance, by the strong working union that the Local Agenda 21 Department, headed by Vicente Chelet, and the Barrios Department, whose representative is Marcela Server, will develop.

Jesús Reina, technician 21 Local Agenda has provided data on the fields of action to be developed this year. Portelles facilities and deckhouse which aims to give space to dianenses in which they can participate and express themselves remain. It will also be continuity in strategic groups "A21 Espai d´Experiència" y "A21 School Space" to be able to receive information about the concerns of elders and children to cover their needs. Regarding the web, Jesús Reina added that the structure will be the same as before and that only features of its design will vary.

By this approach it is to meet the premise that sustainability and consensus with citizens at regional or national level, must be conducted at the local level.
