Juan Pons

Juan Pons Sánchez was born in Dénia on May 11 of 1958. He is a draftsman with his own office from 1985. In addition to collaborating with different groups and professionals related to the design of buildings, Juan Pons has always been closely linked to the Dianense society: vice president of the Club Deportivo Garbí de Balonmano, he has been part of several local theater groups, such as Llebeig or L ' Esparralló, among others, and was one of the first members to have the Moors and Christians party in its beginnings, occupying the position of captain in 1983 of the Filà Almoràvides, Filà to which he is still linked and in which he has exercised several years as First Tró.

Since 1988 is part of the executive Gent Denia, La Xara i Jesus Pobre. Between 1992 and 1999 was councilman in the city, taking over for two of those years in the Department of Planning. It has also been linked as vice president of training, and the last year as Secretary General and Secretary of the Group.

Today, Juan Pons is the candidate of Gent of Dénia mayor of Denia, backed by more than 20 years of experience in local politics and a party supported by its 27 year history as an independent group in Dénia.
