Joves Socialistes of La Marina Alta raises 400 euros in school material for Red Cross

A representation of the Joves Socialistes of the Marina Alta delivered on Wednesday school material worth 400 euros to the Local Assembly of the Red Cross Denia. In particular, 42 highlighters, 235 pens, 70 erasers, 30 cutouts for children, 64 pencil sharpeners, 83 notebooks, 31 multilevel English books, 10 reading books in valencià, 92 pencils, 12 boxes for markers, 25 boxes of colored pencils, 15 boxes of fine waxes, 54 cases and 22 backpacks.

From the grouping, they label this result as a "absolute success" which has exceeded initial expectations thanks to "All the brushstrokes of solidarity, which, from inside and outside the region, have reached a project, based on the illusion and intention that all children of La Marina Alta have an equal education".

The young Sandra Gertrúdix, Enrique Chover, Ángel Serrano, Pau Marín and Rixi Sendra were in charge of delivering the material at the headquarters of Cruz Roja in Dénia, which will carry out the work of distribution of the proceeds.
