José María Olazábal will inaugurate the street that bears his name

The golfer José María Olazábal will be this Thursday, at the opening ceremony of one of the streets that will bear his name. This street is located within the enclosure of Sella Golf. The act will take place at 20: 30 hours.

The EATIM of Jesús Pobre, which houses the golf course of La Sella, unanimously approved the concession of the name of a street to José María Olazábal, after assessing their sports and human skills.

The Basque golfer is the designer of this course, both his first 18 holes and his subsequent extension to 27, which distinguishes this Alicante course as the largest in the entire Costa Blanca.

The street that bears the name of Olazabal is located on the stretch that joins the general road La Xara-Xàbia with the clubhouse of the golf course, right between the Denia Marriott hotel and the Premium urbanization, a place of obligatory access to the countryside of golf, habitual seat of great matches as much of amateur character as professional.
