Jaume Bertomeu i Catalán, new president of the Dénia Fallera Local Board
The fallero Jaume Bertomeu i Catalán will be the president of the Local Fallera Board of Dénia for the 2021-2025 financial year, after the deadline for submitting candidacies has ended at 23:59 on Monday, May 17, without further candidacies for the presidency.
In the next few days, Bertomeu will officially take possession of his position and will announce the names of the new members of the Fallera Local Board.
The new president assumes office for the second time, after heading the Fallera Local Board between 2011 and 2015. Bertomeu has belonged to the Fallera Center since 1984, where he served as president in two years. In 2018 he was elected Exemplary Fallero of the Fallas de Dénia. Now, he faces this new stage of the JLF with the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic is marking.
