Jake Abbott and Ángel Belda, winners of the XXIV Dénia Theme photography contest

Jake Abbott, by Jesús Pobre, with the photograph Silhouettes in les Marines, and Ángel Belda, from Dénia, with the work Beyond the Sea, are the winners of the XXIV Dénia 2020 Theme photography contest in the Tourist and Artistic modalities, respectively. This first prize, in both categories, is endowed with 600 euros.

The second prize in the Tourist category has been for the Portal de la Vila photography, by the denier Alfredo Sanz, and in the Artistic category for Life Acuatic 1, by Lucia Faraig, from Barcelona. Both prizes are endowed with 300 euros.

1st Tourist Award Siluetes a les marines

A total of 57 photographs in the Tourist category and another 57 in the Artistic, submitted by 23 different authors, have competed in this twenty-fourth edition. A selection of this material, including the winning works, will be exhibited at the Dénia House of Culture from September 10 to 26.

2on Artistic Life Acuatic Prize

The jury in charge of choosing the winners has been formed by the plastic artist Alejandro Álvarez Liberti, the technician of the municipal department of Tourism Eva Asperilla and the technician of Culture, Maribel Font, as secretary.
