Grimalt puts an end to criticism of his party accusing the PP of urban sentences Dénia

January 09 from 2015 - 07: 32

The socialist spokesman and candidate for mayor, Vicent Grimalt, wanted to step out and «desmontar» the accusations that the Popular Party has poured over its party in recent years in urban matters, pointing to the responsibility of the current government team and not to the socialist government.

The first of these is the sentence of expropriation of land in Beniadlà, where the Regional Hospital is currently located. According to Grimalt, the land was acquired in the 1999-2003 legislature by the Miguel Ferrer (PP) government team and among its mayor were Pepa Font and Ana Kringe to expand the Pedrera hospital but in 2003 it is the Conseller Rambla the that takes a turn and «exige al Ayuntamiento la expropiación de otros terrenos para construir el nuevo hospital comarcal y ofrecer la gestión a la concesionaria sanitaria Marina Salud».

Vicent Grimalt recalled that this expropriation is paid based on the price marked by the Provincial Expropriation Jury and the signed amount is ratified by the Supreme Court.

Secondly, the socialist councilor spoke of the lands of the Hort de Morand, also acquired in the time of Miguel Ferrer. For its expropriation a payment of 13 million euros was established that should have been paid in 2009, but the government did not do it during the following five years.

In this sense, Grimalt recalled that the government team did not sit down to negotiate in the seven years that have passed since the expropriation of those lands.

Finally, and as a more striking case for Grimalt himself, explained the situation of the site of Miguel Hernandez, dedicated to the second health center and expropriated by the socialist team of Paqui Viciano. According to the Socialist spokesman, the ruling against the City Council does not point to a ruling in the expropriation procedure carried out by the Socialist government, but to the non-payment of the Popular Party government that has breached the agreement established since 2008. Grimalt also remarked that of the 9 million for which the expropriation was signed, 5 million was to pay the use made by the government of Miguel Ferrer to open the road zone of the avenue Miguel Hernández ..

Regarding this issue, the mayoral candidate lamented that the government team did not want to sit down and talk at any time with the owners of the land and negotiate the conditions.

For Vicent Grimalt, the seven years of the current government have been null of management and have only achieved «la paralización de la ciudad».
