This morning the D * na Fòrum was inaugurated, this new format of the important gastronomic event of Dénia, where this time it is committed to "give talk".

It is a forum in which it seeks to exalt the value of the products and producers of the region in addition to the chefs, protagonists of the previous editions. And the risky bet has paid off since the reception, as they have from the organization, has been extraordinary.

In the early hours, before a room full of attendees, where there was no room for a pin (and providing for it, they have installed a screen outside to follow up from there), Mayor Vicent Grimalt was in charge of inaugurating this edition. "The Marina Alta has great gastronomic potential to stand out in the tourism market", said the mayor, so this time they wanted "give voice to producers to round off the concept of UNESCO Gastronomic City".

Next to him have been Roger Llanes, General Director of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and Francesc Colomer, Regional Secretary of Tourism. Llanes has emphasized the importance of those families behind each piece that makes up a dish, highlighting that gastronomy-territory duality is vital. "The good gastronomy is that faced with the values ​​that make it born: the land and the products", said the Director General. For its part, Colomer has been undone in praise for the City Council and the organization, thanking what Dénia does for the entire Valencian Community.
