Hundreds of people witnessed yesterday afternoon the first Moors and Christians parade of the week. Leaving the Plaza del Consell and ending in front of the Red Cross, all who at that time were along Marqués de Campo marveled at the passing of the filaes.
With the street crowded with people, and led by the Christian and Moorish captains, as well as the president of the FEMMICC, Rafa Cheli, all the troops paraded through the heart of Dénia. After the marches, the Christian captaincy acted as hostess at the dinner they organized for the squads.
