14 December 2015 - 14: 56

The two courses of English, basic level plus and intermediate level, which have been given in Creama Dénia have come to an end. These courses, which were accompanied by their corresponding conversation workshop, began in October thanks to the collaboration of four volunteer trainers. These people who unselfishly dedicate their time and knowledge to this teaching activity are Annie, Chus, Julie and John.

The courses, which have completed a total of 19 people, were closed last Friday with the assistance of the first deputy mayor, Rafa Carrió, and the manager of the Creama, Rosario Donderis. At the closing ceremony, the students received a certificate of attendance at the courses and a detail was given to the volunteer teachers in gratitude for their altruistic work.

The English courses taught at Creama Dénia are an initiative launched by one of the volunteers, Annie, at 2013, when she went to the offices of Creama Dénia to offer help to unemployed people to improve their English.

Over time other people joined the team of volunteer trainers and since then, Creama Dénia offers these English courses and conversation workshops whose aim is to increase the level of employability of the unemployed thanks to the improvement of their level of English, Linguistic requirement required in many of the job offers that Creama Denia manages as Placement Agency.

Those interested in these courses take a level test and an interview beforehand. It should be remembered that the courses are aimed at people who already have some knowledge of the language but who need to improve their oral expression and acquire fluency.
