CD Dénia's streak ends after the defeat in the Portuaries field
CD Dénia missed the points against Portuaries in the match played last weekend at the Grao de Gandia field, on whose scoreboard after the final whistle the score was 1-0 in favor of the La Safor team.
The Dianense squad traveled to the Fort Llopis del Grao de Gandia field with the hope of continuing their streak of 4 consecutive games scoring, which could have been the fifth match. But it was not like that.
The teams faced two great strengths, a great Dianense defense against good pressure from the locals. This, on the other hand, caused that there were hardly any occasions during the first 45 minutes in any of the goals.
The second half started with the only goal of the match, adding to the local scoreboard in a match where everything indicated that there would not be too many changes in that first 0-0. Despite an increase in pressure from the Dianenses, they could do nothing to recover their situation and they failed to transform any goal, reaching the final whistle with that 1-0 that breaks CD Dénia's streak.
