Figures of sand on the beach of Dénia to raise awareness about the environment

The beach of Dénia will become a museum of small and great works of art done by the neighbors in the sand itself. The next Sunday 22 day of October will be held at the height of km. 3 de Les Marines, in front of the Bona Platja restaurant, I Sand Figure Contest, organized by the association Sustainable Culture and the collaboration of neighbors and merchants.

Participants will perform their works between 15: 00 and 18: 00 hours, and should be a figure or sand sculpture of Arctic animals, using hands or tools such as shovels, buckets, pallets, rakes and molds, and may use like ornaments complements natural materials of beach (shells, algae, etc.).

The jury, made up of artists, will evaluate the difficulty, presentation, ability, uniqueness, balance, imagination and execution of each work, and make public their failure to 18: 30 h. The collaborating companies will award the prizes of the two categories, children and adults.
