José Antonio Sánchez, founder and former secretary general of CEDMA, dies
"From the Cercle Empresarial de la Marina Alta we regret having to report the death of Mr. José Antonio Sánchez, one of the founders of this Federation and secretary general between 2004 and 2011," CEDMA reported this morning.
"In addition to being a great colleague, he was also one of the promoters of the Multisectorial Association of Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta, Multisecma, in 2006." For this reason, and for his enormous contribution to business associations in the region, he was awarded an honorary CEDMA Award in 2014.
Among others, he was a promoter of the first business conferences held in the region by CEDMA, one of the architects of the Federation's relations with other business entities, such as the Alicante Chamber, of which he was also a delegate in Dénia, and one of the creators of the CEDMA Awards in 2007.
In recent years, despite being retired from business associations, he continued to actively participate in the Federation, "always ready to help and support new entrepreneurs and attend all events organized by CEDMA."
