For decades, since his arrival in the city in the 70s, he has been very involved on a cultural and political level with the municipality. So much so that he became a councilor between 1987 and 1995 with the Gent de Dénia group. However, years later he joined the municipal ranks of the PSPV as a militant, a party to which he belonged until his death.

In addition, he is known for his involvement in the Casa de Andalucía, with which he organized one of the most important poetry prizes in Dénia: the Adolfo Utor Acevedo prizes. And it was not his only contribution to the culture of the city, but he was involved in musical projects and developed his interest in poetry and painting.

The funeral will take place tomorrow Thursday at the Dénia funeral home at 17:00 p.m.
