Municipal excursions to better know our surroundings

The proposals for leisure that each season organized by the City of Dénia have a common denominator for all ages that has been consolidated in a short time. The excursions in Dénia and surroundings are a success for the public, who do not hesitate to sign up for these free weekend activities.

The last exit of the program Family excursions This year it consisted of a friendly route through rural roads and a mountain path in the Vall de Laguar. Departing from Fleix, the participants went to Benimaurell along the old road that runs next to the wash houses of both towns and continued the route by path to the Collado de la Garga, with impressive views of the Rectory, Dénia, the Montgó and the sea.
 
The program will resume in January of 2018, specifically on Sunday 14, with an excursion to the Xara, Benimaquia, the path of Colonia and La Pedrera.

The excursions reach all ages, and this month, the Classrooms of the Third Age they have made the first excursion of the 2017 / 2018 course. The destination on this occasion was the city of Alicante, where the group, made up of 55 students from the Classrooms, visited the area of ​​Tossal de Manises, where the archaeological site of Lucentum is located.
