November 26 from 2013 - 00: 06

The municipality of Denia has presented the Action Plan on noise pollution that will be taken to the ordinary plenary this month.

The environmental councilor, Juan Carlos Signes, explained that the plan provides for a specific program for nightlife areas that have not been declared Acoustically Saturated Zones (ZAS) in order to control and improve the noise pollution they generate. The areas included are La Mar street, Les Fonts and the port. Likewise, the plan will include a detailed study of these areas "to see if your declaration proceeds as a saturated zone."

The action programs that enumerate the plan are the incorporation of acoustic criteria in the processes of urban planning and mobility, the promotion of buildings with adequate insulation, administrative control actions, corrective actions against noise and actions of participation and public awareness .

This plan will be valid for five years and describes the noise-generating activities within the municipality - road, rail and port traffic, industry and leisure activities, mainly.
