This afternoon the book «1662. Visura de la Vall departure »

The conflicts over the term between Dénia and Jávea have been for years a matter of dispute between both populations since 1397 Jávea got its own government and municipal term.

In 1662 there was the "visura" of the San Bertomeu Valley, a review of the territory at that time in Dénia. In the XNUMXth century, Dénia, destroyed by the War of Succession, cannot face the process against Jávea and thus ends the process.

The historian Miguel Almenara has worked on the facsimile edition of this document that can be found in the Municipal Archive of Dénia. The digitized edition has been made by the City of Jávea with the collaboration of the department of culture of the city of Dénia and the Municipal Archive and will be presented this afternoon, from 20 hours, in the Plenary Hall of the Dianense consistory.
