Today is an important city fallero calendar day. Tonight, from the 21 hours, we will know the names of the new Falleras Over Denia for the year 2015 / 2016.

The fifteen candidates participated last Saturday in the coexistence organized by the Local Fallera Board in which the presidents and delegates of the Fallas of Dénia also participated. The day began with a trip aboard La Panseta to the Baleària Maritime Station.

Once there, the participants got to know the facilities and both the delegates and the representatives of the Fallera Local Board headed by José Antonio Monsonís had the opportunity to ask the candidates questions. Yesterday they appeared, dressed as a fallera, before the delegates with the right to vote.

Today at 20 hours, begin voting in the City of Dénia. At 21 hours and counting it will take a few minutes after the mayor made calls to the chosen. This year, as a novelty, a reception will be held in the basement of City Hall to the new falleras higher instead of going home.

The candidates for the major child faller of Dénia are Alejandra Pastor Gavilà (Baix la Mar), Nerea Gamero Pereira (Saladar), Nerea Luque Triano (Darrere del Castell), Amparo Teresa Martín López (Campaments), Kyra Noguera Mayans (Paris Pedrera) and Gabriela Baessa Palu (Les Roques).

To be a faller major of Dénia, the candidates are Laura Oltra Gil (Baix la Mar), Samantha Carbonell Viciano (Saladar), Mireia Asunción Malonda (Darrere del Castell), Joaquina Ripoll Fonts (Campaments), Marina Margalejo Vives (Port Rotes), Irene González Adsuara (Paris Pedrera), Laura Ferrer Llinares (Les Roques), Noelia Vargas Sánchez (West) and Ester Hidalgo Blanquer (Diana).
