The mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the councilor for Education, Melani Ivars, held a new meeting this morning with the representatives of all primary and secondary schools in Dénia. On the part of the consistory, it has been announced that on Monday, May 11, coinciding with the start - pending official confirmation - of Phase 1 of the de-escalation, the disinfection work of public and private schools and city institutes. Disinfection will be done both inside the facilities and in the courtyards and outside the buildings.
The city council has reactivated the contract with the cleaning company, suspended during the state of alarm, at 100% of the service to guarantee maximum hygiene in school facilities, taking into account that administrative tasks can be resumed and part of the staff can return .
On the other hand, the Councilor for Education has offered the centers the possibility that the city council supports the task of disseminating all the information related to the next course through the municipal website and social networks.
At the meeting it was also agreed that the dianenses centers follow the same evaluation criteria in the current course, taking into account the exceptional situation. A topic that will be explored in future meetings.
Regarding the development of the course, the management teams have confirmed that all the students are controlled and following the classes.
