Looking for an economic and social commitment of the government team

January 18 from 2013 - 00: 00

Dissatisfied with the budgets approved by the municipality of Dénia in the past extraordinary plenary session, the Socialists have prepared a document presented this month asking a series of measures the government team as a commitment to meet during 2013.

Councilor Paco Roselló recalled that they did not support the budgets because they do not consider "would be" the attitude of Chelet, "We cannot tolerate that the PP-CU will change the destination of the social welfare item again or that only 100.000 euros of social assistance has been executed from a 7.800 euro item in 2012, we cannot consent to Pepa Font not acquiring any commitment to tourism items that has not explained why it rises and we cannot allow energy expenditure to continue the same ".

Vicent Grimalt, socialist spokesman, explained the commitments that they request from the government team, which include using the social welfare items only for their purpose, establishing true energy savings, transparency in external contracting, recovering the investment of 400.000 euros from the ARI de Les Roques, which has disappeared in the budgets, and request the 1% cultural to the ministry for the rehabilitation of the castle.

In addition to this motion seeking compromise, the Socialists will present claims to the 2013 Budgets to budget the Employment Board or amortize the position of concierge, which is causing closures of weekends in the municipal library.
