A total of 41 people across the Region participated last Sunday in the II Painting Contest Ciutat de Dénia ADAMA organized in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Denia.
Tavernes Blanques artist Emilio Cárdenas won the first prize of this edition, equipped with 700 euros in cash. Antonio Agulló Garcia, Elche, the 400 euros took second prize and Alberto Márquez Ruiz, Pilar de la Horadada, the third prize of EUR 200 was.
This year as a novelty, a prize was added to the best local artist that fell to Mª Dolores del Pilar Sebastià, who will enjoy a trip to Formentera thanks to the shipping company Baleària. The pegolino Fernando Seguí Mengual won in the category of regional artist, taking a lot of paintings valued at 100 euros thanks to Marina Color.
The jury of this II Painting Contest Ciutat de Dénia It was formed by the artists Joan Castejón and Teo San José and the culture councilor Rafa Carrió.
The winning works can be seen until next June 30 in Dénia Tourist Office.
