Four new air operations add to extinguish the fire of Montgó

112 emergency service this afternoon has decided to send four new air operations in addition to the two helicopters and light aircraft from the past 16 hours working hard in extinguishing the fire declared in the natural park of Montgó.

In the area are working firefighters Regional Park, as well as members of Civil Protection, Local Police, Red Cross Ambulance, Civil Guard and emergency brigades with two fire engines.

The authorities call upon all persons close to him, to follow the instructions that are being given by firefighters and civil protection.

The proximity of the flames and smoke especially have already forced to evacuate several chalets in the area. The Social Center Jesús Pobre opens its doors to welcome 25 neighbors who have had to be evacuated from their homes.

More means of extinction continue to arrive in the fire area and it is expected that in a few minutes, Serafín Castellano, Minister of the Interior, will arrive at the scene of the incident.
