The curfew will be delayed until midnight in the Valencian Community
Curfew until midnight, extension of the hours of the hotel business until 23pm and end of the perimeter closure. These are the three novelties that the Generalitat Valenciana is proposing as of Monday, May 10, when the State of Alarm declines.
As reported by Cadena SER, the Generalitat is finalizing the regulations that would represent another step in the relaxation of restrictions in the Community. Although the end of the perimeter closure is the measure that is most likely to fall after May 9, night mobility could be extended until midnight.
In addition, the SER has confirmed that the Consell is also proposing to extend the limit of meetings from up to 8 to 10 people (currently the limit is 6 people).
As for the hospitality industry, the sector has been asking for weeks to extend the hours until midnight, although what the Generalitat is studying is to allow the opening until 23:00 or 23:30.
As we already explained in this publication, when the state of alarm subsides, it will be the courts who endorse or not the new measures of the autonomous communities that imply a limitation of fundamental rights.
At the moment, the public appearance of President Ximo Puig to announce the new measures, which used to be held on Thursdays, has not been announced.
