The Real Club Náutico Dénia is made with a gold and two bronzes in the third round of the XVII Sea Kayak League

The kayak team of the Real Club Náutico Dénia moved, last Sunday 21 of July, to Pobla de Farnals to play the 3ª regional test of the XVII League of Sea Kayak. With a total of 11 paddlers, the club won a gold and two bronzes.

Maik Dimitrov obtained the first position in the youth category k1, with a total distance of 15 km. The paddler has achieved the 4ª absolute position of the whole test, which shows his physical fitness for his participation in the sea kayaking world championship in September.

Toni Gil achieved the third position in k1 cadet, with a distance of 10 km. The player managed to reach the finish line only 54 seconds after the first classified.

Niki Radoslavov and Noé Blanchard obtained the third position in the k2 cadet category, with a distance of 10 km.

Marcos Ortega achieved fourth place in k1 cadet, as did Pablo Orgiler and Miguel Abarca in k2 cadet. On the other hand, Miguel Louwagie was fifth in cadet k1.

Joan Moncho was forced to withdraw from the test due to severe dizziness.

Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, has congratulated the dianenses paddlers for their great participation in the autonomous region and encourages them to continue their efforts in the 4ª regional test that will take place at the RCND next August 3.
