The 'Octopus to the Flame' of La Glorieta wins the XIV Tapas Route in Dénia

The customers have spoken, and the Octopus to the Flame offered by the restaurant La Glorieta has won the prize of the public for the best tapa of the XIV Tapas Route organized by GuiaME Comunicación. In second place has been the Txoco Bar with the proposal Artichoke from our garden in tempura with foie gras and caramelized onions.

The Aehtma prize, valued by a technical jury, has fallen on the Mushroom stuffed with Iberian bacon and goat cheese, with aioli and Hoisin sauce prepared by El Jamonal de Ramonet.

Turismo Dénia has awarded the tapa made with local produce, a recognition given to Entrearomas and its recipe Hake and Red Shrimp, Creamy White Potato, Chaplain, Rock Octopus and Smoked Sardine Delicates.

In the awards ceremony of the XIV Tapas Route, held at the Dénia Town Hall, the names of the winning winners of this edition have been announced.

As every year, the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center has raffled a card worth 500 euros among the drivers who have finished the 40 tapas. An award that has fallen to Graham Powell.

News for the next edition

The Ruta de Tapas de Dénia has established itself as one of the most anticipated gastronomic events on the calendar. With the aim of improving even more the quality of the tapas that are presented, the organization is studying the possibility of including economic prizes for the participating restaurants.

In this sense, although 40 establishments are currently, the possibility of reducing the number of participants and even the days of celebration with the aim of ensuring superior quality in the tapas offered is not ruled out.
