The December bridge is filled with guided tours to discover the archaeological heritage of Dénia

The Archaeological Museum of Denia, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana, has organized three guided tours during the December bridge to bring local heritage to neighbors and visitors.

Visits are free and it is enough to make a prior reservation by calling the Ethnological Museum of Dénia (96 642 02 60), from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 13:16 p.m. and from 19:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

The program starts on Thursday, December 6, with a visit to the Levantine cave art of the Cova de la Catxupa. This visit coincides with the celebration of the twenty years of the declaration of the Rock Art of the Mediterranean Arc of the Iberian Peninsula, as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the 5 of December. The meeting point will be the CN 332 road. Km 187.5. Sale of Vine, at 10: 30 hours.

El Saturday, December 8, the visit will be to Alt de Benimaquia, with an expert guide. The meeting point is next to the stop of La Xara to the 10: 30 hours. The access road is next to the Occupational Center of La Xara.

Finally, the Sunday December 9, a visit to the Church of Santa María and the moat of the vila del Castillo de Dénia has been organized. Participants will meet at 10:30 am at the Castle reception.
