Despite not knowing the details of the governing pact of Popular Party and Center Unificat, the municipal spokesman of the PSPV-PSOE, Vicent Grimalt, has said that "The Department of Tourism is not exercised by the Mayor's Office as announced by the PP in the last municipal elections."
For Grimalt and socialists, the Department of Tourism should be "Crown jewel" and the basis on which coordinate other areas to achieve economic revitalization of the municipality.
The new socialist portavos said that "We will make a serious and constructive opposition, as we have done so far, and we will defend the general interest of all dianenses for the sake of Dénia."
