The Socialist Party denounced the closure of the office of ONCE in Dénia

Last March 31 closed its doors ONCE office in Denia, located on Calle San José, following the unilateral decision of the National Organization of the Blind of Spain. With the closing of this office, the 70 200 workers and over which account affiliated with ONCE in the Marina Alta will depend on the offices of Benidorm and Gandia.

Since the 40, ONCE it has done work integration and support people with visual problems throughout the region, and now, after more than 70 years of work, the cuts have finished their work.

The councilor in charge of social services in the PSOE of Dénia, Vicenta Bixquert, has urged the management of ONCE in the Valencian Community, to reconsider the closure of its agency in Dénia and "opt for maintaining it 100%, thus guaranteeing employment and quality of services to workers and/or members of Denia and surroundings (Javea, Ondara, Pego, Vergel, etc)".

From the socialist ranks denounce the policy of closing workplaces and services being implemented by the ONCE, with the closure of more than 100 agencies across the country closed.
