The "Loca Sacra" guided tour program will tour the sacred landscapes of Dénia

December bridge in Dénia mark the start of a new program of guided themed routes that will extend until spring and are intended to visit the holy places of the history of the city.

Loca Sacra (Holy places, in Latin), it will reveal the origins and identity of the sacred places of Dénia since Roman times. The first destination will be the Cova de l'Aigua (6 December), where Roman deposited oil lamps and coins to their gods. The municipal archaeologist Josep Antoni Gisbert, said also scheduled visits to the hermitage of Sant Joan and arqeuológico complex Penya de l'Eagle, in the Montgó in spring 2014. In addition, his department is working on developing a brochure on routes Temps de pansa y Loca Sacra.

Councilwoman of Culture, Pepa Font, explained that these routes seek to expand tourism in the city as happened with the thematic routes on the matter, who came to gather 80 people in the same output.
