The award of Formació de Persones Adultes de Dénia recognizes an entity of Xàtiva

The Center for Formation and Associació de Persones Adultes Participants Francesc Bosch i Morata of the city of Xàtiva is the winner of the 22ª edition of the City of Dénia Prize for the training of adults. This binomial center-association excels in the defense, promotion and improvement of education and training throughout life, grafted with the recognition of feminist contributions and the contributions of the various practices of freedom and emancipation, not only from the tasks and educational functions but also from the sociopolitical, community and popular.


 
In addition, the jury has decided to award him the prize for his contribution to the establishment of relationships, mediations and cooperation between the social and the public, between educators and educated people, who have created and strengthened the links and have favored the creation of networks in the field of permanent education and popular culture. All from one option "committed and responsible and from a purely inclusive, coexistence, dialogic and loving educational, ethical and political dimension"that allows to affirm that the center-association Francisco Bosch and Morata has drawn experiences with a clear bet, singular and common, towards education and popular formation throughout life.
 
The members of the jury of this 22ª edition of the FPA Ciutat de Dénia award are the Councilor for Culture and Education, Rafa Carrió; Yolanda Corella Lobo, representative of the Workshop for the Renewal of Adult Education (TAREPA); Pilar Bienvenida García Ginés, president of the Association of Alumni of the CFPA of Almussafes; Vicent Mas Estela, director of the FPA center of Dénia and Vicent Crespo Femenía, Councilor for Sports of the City of Dénia, with the Culture technique, Maribel Font, as secretary.
 
The award will be delivered on June 7, at 12 hours, at the Dénia Public Library, in an act open to the public in which the representatives of the award-winning center and association will receive the sculpture created specifically by Joan Castejón for this prize awarded by the City of Dénia.
